Where the hell have I been? I don’t know. But I’m back! And we are beginning a brand new video series. In the first video I propose that morality does not exist. Please like and share on FB, twitter, youtube etc.

my thoughts (right/wrong or moral/immoral). i believe they both exist within a certain context. e.g. if i enjoy sticking a live chicken’s head up my ass…moral and right. if my friend likes it when i stick same head up the ass…moral and right. when i take my little chicken friends head and try to stick it up the bum of an unwilling recipient…immoral and wrong. ( no telling what the fucking chicken thinks). it’s all good unless it harms a person who doesn’t deserve harm. now if they deserve harm, well……………that’s a crapshoot!
Your my inspiration also! It makes me feel better about myself to know that I don’t have to be someone I’m not or be NORMAL! I can be wierd, freaky or what ever I want. And Morgue, u have taught me that.
You are my inspiration. I was wondering if you do sword swallowing lessons?
This is indeed very insightful. I have been struggling quite a lot with some stuff about the morality of certain…choices…I have made. The thing is, what makes my choices wrong? That it makes me happy? That I’m comfortable with it? That I’ve never hurt anybody through that choice in my entire life? I think not. Indeed, sometimes I wonder if I’m wrong, and sometimes I wonder if I’m going to pay dearly for it, although I have already because society. My point is, my comfort level has exceeded any point it has ever been at before because of this new perspective on these things. Morgue, thank you so much. Indeed, I am in your debt.
So true. There are many shades of grey between concepts of right and wrong but in their own way they help make every human concept even if every shade is not said to “exist”. There is a thin line between every concept and belief that people often ignore.
We Have So much in commen it’s Amazing, Except I’m a Female & You’re a Male,
but other wise We Do! Want you to know I’m an Extremely Huge Fan of yours Morgue! I REALLY Want To See You in person Donig Your Art! ;]
Do u like goths
this makes s much since to me and i hardly get anything but i totally get this right on morgue
Morgue, hun, the only reason anything exists, is because we were taught that. Religion, Morality, Law, names of things. For example, the sky is blue, because we were taught that as children, shit, to someone else, it could be, I don’t know, fuschia, for all I care, and that’s what they believe, because it is what they were taught.
Once people are past that, that BS of a guilty conscious(or sense of self pride for doing right), like you said, it’s alot easier for people to realize the thin lines, that are non-existent, as opposed to proven things like gravity, energy, etc.
Reminds me of the real vs. unreal #s in calculus. I made my professor question herself, by asking, well if it really is an unreal #, then a)how does it exist, & b)how the fuck do expect us to solve a problem if it is non-existent? You can’t mask something, say it’s unreal, but yet, still have it show some sort of value.
True daat.
We meed more gentlemen like you teaching the masses.
a…….tiny clif hahaha
but this is weird i just came on and signed up did my info whatever and came to watch this video and i totally Hate how people see the world as black&white rather then the gray it is there is no good or bad really,
I Understand Exactly The Point You Are Making And I Agree more Than 100% And All i Have To Say Is FUCK SOCIETY ! People Make Society and people themselves …Some Not All ..but majority are Stupid Fuckers.
How refreshing, an intelligent view not tainted by the society’s brainwashing.
I have to agree with #magdelene tsunami – this reminds me of much of my course reading for sociology. A bit of Nietzsche, too – if his work was read poorly. So much of this seems terribly empirical, lacking nuance or any new insight, and frankly childish. Contradictions abound, additionally. Morality doesn’t exist – well, it does, but only insofar as humankind generates it – but remember, it doesn’t exist.
In terms of ingenuity and insight, this is child’s play. Welcome to the philosophical conversation from the 18th century, told by prepubescents.
Very interesting posts. They remind me a lot of various things I read years ago in college – my degree was in Sociology, concentration in Anthropology. Sincerely, thanks for the reminders – it’s easy to get downtrodden by the “normal” people and forget the truth. You’re a much-needed breath of fresh air … I admire you greatly and hope to get to meet you one day. I could go on … I’ll leave it at “thanks.”
You are an amazing being. I really enjoy your views, I agree with them completely. Plus, you’re entertaining & probably the sexiest man alive. I hope to one day be graced with your presence & meet you someday. Keep it going.
So you have addressed the philosophy of right and wrong and it is a good one to address. In my opinion right and wrong should be self conceived and have it influence your life as you see fit. But ultimately there is no master conception of actions that will lead to good things or bad things to happen. Because an action will always cause a reaction and that reaction could lead to any number of things happening in which are uncontrollable because control of anything is as well an illusion. You can try to predict through previous encounters what the reaction might be but you cant in all honesty say that it will lead to something good or you where doing good in committing that action. For example say a guy comes into my apartment right now and shoots me in the head. Well that guy is now a murderer and will be convicted and put into prison for doing the “wrong” thing. But then lets say that this man had not randomly shot me and instead I went on living to become a serial killer, rapist, sadist torturer guy that ruined the lives of hundreds, now who is right? Everybody likes to think their doing the right thing, some like to think their doing the wrong thing. Yet in actuality you are just doing what you want to do at that moment and living a life you have accepted to live in this life time. So don’t go condemning people and give the excuse that it was the right thing to do, that it was for the greater good because that’s just a load of horse shit.
I agree with you a bit morgue the bible iteself says…………Titus 1:15 “Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.” I use the rule of moderation (though I am currently attending a hardcore church that doesn’t even allow for jewelry and am about to make a lot em made wearing my stupid neon tiger print bejewelled bracelet to church this sunday : ) ——— but I don’t see how anyone could kill someone and not consider that even wrong?????????? So though I think I do believe a great deal of “morality” is man made, I also think some it is real ——— for it could never be right to kill someone, jail em, dunk em in water maybe : )
Great to have you back Master Morgue, your minions have missed you greatly. We’re not worthy. \m/
I’ve actually been pondering morality quite a lot recently (before this video was posted) and the effect of social ethics on the human psyche (I’m studying psychology with a focus on criminology). I must say that I completely agree that id doesn’t exist and that this can be proven by things such as the Child Soldiers here in Africa, who are little itty bitty 10 year old kids who are trained assassins – at such a young age society still views the individual as innocent, and thus incapable of committing an “evil” act – which then means that the “wrongness” (if that’s even a word. Bare with me! I like to create my own vocabulary) of murder can be brought into question. The range of “moral values” is to wide for it to be something that people are born with – morality is definitely something implanted at a young age by the parents.
Empathy and sympathy DO exist however, and these feeling can be evoked when committing an act that society may see as morally wrong. For example, if you were to murder someone it is possible to feel no remorse for your actions if you ignore the morals society has set into place (killing another being is part of nature. It’s as much of an animalistic instinct to us as sex is, but of course most of us repress our violent urges) but you may however, upon seeing the victims weeping mother or wife, feel empathy/sympathy for them knowing the grief that they’re going through; and this will give you a “bad” feeling or a “guilty” feeling. It is not however your morality kicking in, but your emotions (emotional responses in humans can also be trained and shaped by adults, but to a lesser degree as emotional reactions are nature to us and empathy is prevalent in more races than just the human race).
Hope some of this makes sense. I’m typing this after a night of clubbing.
I hear ya & unstand so far mr morgue. lookin forward To part 2
