I hate it when people complain about how we are killing the Earth, and then turn around and cut down entire forests or woodland for subdivisions and cities and building and houses. Its like they just say it because it sounds right. If it is right, shouldn’t you act upon it? instead of LYING?

The mist hides things that lurk in the shadows,
The only light is a spot light if white light from above.
A gentle rain calms the tensions,
where a small house sits,
with only one, and one to love.
It doesn’t bother them,
they are never alone.
The house sits with with a grim smile.
The trees lean away, and the flowers wilt,
Death has taken the meadow.
The rive flows backwards.
Fish, too lazy to multiply.
A monster roars in the clearing,
spewing its black sticky spit,
rolling along in its tracks.
Sending a message, and a challenge.
With so much devastation,
the trees allow themselves to give.
While the birds squeal angerly.
Now the house is sad,
with others all around it.
