Pencil drawing I did of Morgue. Great, now I feel like a creeper, but whatever. I think I’ve learned a lot about how to draw faces doing this. The pic I was drawing from was at an odd angle so it was a bit of a challenge for me. Well, my apologies to Morgue for making him look odd.
If you know how I could get the mouth of eyes to look a but better, well the whole face actually, that would be appreciated advice. Still, I think this it the best picture of a real person I’ve done yet! Yay!

I thought I commented, but maybe I didn’t. Basically what I said was that it’s quite good, and that faces are probably the hardest thing to draw besides hands. Using lines and cross-hatches to make sure your angles are consistent makes things easier. Shading can be really hard too, try deciding on your light source, then maybe set a light like that on yourself and see how the shadows fall. I think I also said I could send you an example of what your rough would look like if you do the line thing. But I do like it–it does resemble him, you just gotta take another stab at the placing of the features. Stay siq…and let me know, y’know, if you want a little help, but no biggie–my feelings won’t be hurt if you don’t.
Thanks, as far as features go, looking at it now, I think the nose it too small and I needed more/better shading. like under the bottom lip. Lolz, well there’s always next time. But currently I’m working on making a mask. I’m goin for a black and white, post-apocalyptic, retro-Victorian look. Yep…

Good work! Eyes look pretty and hair look good as well. But lower lip is a abit awkward… it could have a better shape,and upper lip looks good. You could add a few face lines.. under eyes, above the chin and on the left corner of his mouth because I think he’s smiling right? But who am I to judge, I have a lot of things to learn as well.
