Heart of Gold
Webs and clots in corners hear
Echoing the sounds so dear
The blood of love
And quilt of pain
The heart of gold has been slain
Nevermore, could lungs so sore
Breath ever faster, heavier, more
Timing to shadows
And fastening to streets
Casting away unsung defeat
Murder not and enter here
Could my eyes know such things dear?
I sent for you,
Have you now come?
Or am I simply unraveling
Falling
Coming undone?
-Xat
Am I finally feeling?

Very beautiful and feelings are true, they can never be wrong for they come from our hearts.
It struck a chord within me in a way that few things do. This poem is one of your best works yet.
Very much appreciated m’lady! I am glad you enjoy it.
Last I checked, I was male in body. Unless you know something I don’t.
Besides, I enjoy all your poetry/art/obscure references to gay strippers. XD
Oh dear. I forgot what your username was.
