The devil gave humans critical thinking, which God didn’t want. God didn’t want us to eat from the Tree of Knowlege of ”Good” and ”Evil” so we could be thoughtless slaves for all eternity. The devil FREED us by turning the tables with a single conversation.
Biblically, the devil killed maybe 10 people, where god killed 2.3+ million. He understands human nature, but doesn’t judge us for being human. He accepts God’s rejected unconditionally. And still, the devil’s the dickhead. Why? Because he can take it and moves on. Because he’s not a hero, but does what’s just by OUR OWN STANDARDS of justice. He’s kept an eye open and down his best to keep us happy instead of judging us and emotionally brow-beating us. Isn’t religion great? -
