Viral Author gives you the ability to share directly to this website. This is a trial feature, so please review these guidelines before submitting a post.
Authoring a Virus
This can be anything you like: Music, art, photos, videos, short stories, blogging etc.
To begin click on “Write a Virus”. You now have the options to customize a page any way you like, no restrictions! Please make sure you select only ONE category. When you are finished click “Submit for Approval”, and your post will be submitted soon. You may edit your post before it is approved, but after it is published you may no longer edit your post. If this is made a permanent feature, after a certain number of posts are approved you will be able to approve the post yourself, and will be able to edit them anytime.
Whenever someone clicks one of these buttons, a link to your post will be shared. If “Viral Author” is made a permanent feature, THE COUNTERS WILL BE RESET TO “0″. All of the links to your post will still be there, as well as the comments. However, the counters will be reset to “0″. Please keep this in mind.
Setting the Thumbnail
Every submission must have at least one photo that will be used as the thumbnail. Please make it relevant to the content, a picture that represents what you are posting. If it is music, an album cover is recommended. For video, a screenshot is recommended. To set the thumbnail click on the “Add an Image” icon. Click “Select Files” and locate the image you wish to use. Then click on “Set featured image”, it will be located just above the “Save all changes” button.
Videos
I am currently only able to allow up to 8MB per file. Which is fine for pictures and music. However that is too small for video. If “Viral Author” Is made a permanent feature you will be able to upload videos directly to this site. But for now you can do it by hosting it on another site (like YouTube) then embedding it in your page here. Simple!
Profane Titles
The content of your post can contain any vulgarities you like, no censoring necessary (Fucktastic!). But please keep them out of the title, since we use the facebook and twitter buttons the title of the post may be displayed on their site, and this goes against their “Terms of Service”. This is a temporary rule and will hopefully be lifted if “Viral Author” is made a permanent feature.
Nudity
The first photo, or featured image, of your post will be the thumbnail displayed throughout this site, or on other sites if the share buttons are clicked. Please keep this image free of nudity. The rest of your content may contain nudity IF it falls under artistic expression. So no, you may not post a video of a blow-job, regardless of how hot it may be. But if you are posting an artistic photo shoot or video that contains nudity, that is acceptable.
